Collection: Provide for Birmingham & Solihull Women's Aid
Beginning life as a refuge in a 1980s squat, Birmingham & Solihull Women's Aid has recently celebrated its 40th anniversary.
Since its formation BSWA has grown to be much more than a refuge. Still a small organisation with limited resources, they do incredible work advocating for the rights of all women, supporting those affected by domestic violence and abuse and educating others to act and create change.
Team members at the charity asked us to come up with a design that highlights the varied work they do, and their long running connection with Birmingham.
We teamed up with local designer Amy Rebecca Evans on this vintage style illustration that symbolises the wide range of tools that BSWA equips women with. More than just a refuge, they provide education, access to transport, space to explore creativity and much, much more.
